(Sent by a home-schooled musician)

volunteers Challenges Clonlara School families.
We will investigate the origins of music and how people could enjoy it all before the advent of electronic players.

And beyond that, we will search for the musician / a in all of us using objects everyday, all you can think of that may sound ... and then write a song. If you can not burn it to send via email or upload to a video channel, you can call and hear it live.

Ideas:

juice bottles filled with stones in different quantities, wooden crates of various sizes, some cans preserved (not preserved) used as a campaign ... finally, what everyone has at home and inspire. Theoretical justification
:

"In the prehistoric use of tools for hunting, collecting grain and cooking, are also musical instruments, which tells us that music has been very important for humanity and not no known culture that does not practice music.
Peasants of antiquity, had few financial resources to build or buy good musical instrument worthy of an orchestra, but had many objects around that could produce sounds, and so accompany their songs, they put their ingenuity in the service of love for music. Sticks used to accompany the metalized beaten by a rod, the bells of animals of different sizes, empty liquor bottles, and a long etcetera. "
The benefits of music education are:
    Develops
  • musical ear, which facilitates its introduction into the world of music and helps us to recognize and distinguish the different sounds that accompany us in daily life.
  • promotes artistic expression.
  • helps anticipate, organize and synchronize movement. Dancing, clapping or walking to the beat of a song are activities that work together rhythm and movement.
  • Improves concentration instrumental practice.
  • Develops imagination and creativity.
  • strengthens memory by doing instrumental and singing.
  • helps in the treatment of language problems. Some / as children have slurred speech or other speech problems. Thanks to the songs, work the problems without much effort. Help
  • externalize emotions.
